Why your watch is not running properly could be a result of many factors. Stress on the mechanism over the years. Rust. Dirt. Worn or broken internal pieces. Our in-store repair shop will inspect your watch and provide a free estimate for repairs. After repairing your watch, we monitor it for one week before returning it to you. Why? We want to ensure that your watch is truly repaired and perfect for you. We work on all brands, makes and models, including Rolex, Movado, Bulova, Cartier, Omega and Patek Philippe.
At James Douglas Jewelers, our expert technicians have over 85 years of experience in repairing and overhauling clocks. When we say overhaul, that means we do a complete service on your clock’s mechanism. With a four-step approach of cleaning and inspecting, oiling, repairing and testing, our technicians provide the best possible service for the delicate workings of your clock, including making or installing additional parts as needed.
Is your clock too big to bring to the store? Our “Clock Docs” gladly make house calls for grandfather or heirloom timepieces. Our non-refundable fee covers our travel and minor work done at that time. If your clock needs an overhaul, your fee becomes a deposit on the work. Grandfather clocks, cuckoo clocks, regulator clocks, anniversary clocks… James Douglas Jewelers can fix them all.
